”Quality, Knowledgeable, Responsive, and Integrity are words I would use to describe Eric Rigg. My experience with Eric building my home was exceptional. During a time of supply chain problems and Covid Eric provided on time scheduling and supplies and solved any issue that arose in a timely manner. I spent several months researching 12 builders, as well as their suppliers and customers before I made a decision. The result is the home of my dreams built to last a lifetime. The attention to detail, as well as the elements of building a quality home that most homeowners never see are part of Eric’s process. For example, he used engineered lumber on my home for strength, durability, and straightness, something I was not aware of before Eric. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of homebuilding and offered suggestions and options that helped me enhance my home. Eric’s project management skills showed time and time again as he advised me throughout the process and his ability to manage suppliers and subcontractors kept the process on time and on budget. This is the third home I’ve built, as well as remodeling four homes I’ve owned, and Eric is by far the best. The result is a beautifully constructed quality home that I am proud to be the owner of. I am planning a guest house on the property and will absolutely use Eric to build it. Phenomenal job from an ethical, reliable, and honest man. Thank you for such a great outcome. ”In the spring of 2021, after a friend in the construction industry recommended RCI, we contacted Eric Rigg regarding replacement of a backyard pergola with something more substantial. With Eric's help, we were able to envision a couple options and decide on exactly what we wanted.
Eric gave us a detailed offer. It included architectural drawings done by a professional. Specific costs and payment schedule were laid out. Some money—about 20%--was required up front, with additional payments required as different parts of the job were completed. Final payment was due after we were satisfied the job was properly completed. The price in the offer was almost exactly what we paid. We added additional work not part of our original request—Eric told us what it would cost and we agreed to it beforehand.
Throughout the process, Eric's honesty and attention to detail was obvious. He told us how long the job would take, and told us the things beyond his control that could make it take a bit longer. In one case, he chose to build trusses himself rather than order them prebuilt to eliminate a supply challenge and complete the job more quickly.
One of the things that impressed us most was his choice of subcontractors. They were every bit as meticulous as Eric. The roofer was exceptional and actually made our home more efficient by the way he did his job. With the painters, there was a delay of just a few days because Eric wanted a specific group of guys he trusted to do the job right. Good call! They made smart suggestions and improved the final product.
We were always impressed with the daily clean up. Eric and his subs left our back porch clean every day. When they wanted to leave something overnight that they'd need again the next day, they asked if it was OK. Just another example of paying attention to what the customer wanted.
And there was follow up. Shortly after the job was done, we were contacted to ensure nothing had cropped up that needed fixed. Again after a few months, and one more time nearly a year after the work was completed.
Overall, we would, without reservation, recommend Eric Rigg and his company RCI. From our initial contact throughout the renovation, we were impressed. He was honest, knowledgeable and fair; he brought in good people; and he consistently focused on doing superior work. We would hire Eric again and we highly recommend him for any job, big or small.

for a renovation of our kitchen and master bath. I approached the project with both excitement and dread, due to the mess and disruption. My concerns were uncalled for. Yes, there was both, but I quickly knew we were in good hands with the careful attention to protecting our home, keeping the work sight as clean as possible and keeping us informed at all times. The team that Eric Rigg put together was stellar….always on time, pleasant to have in our home, thorough and with attention to details. The quality of all the work was excellent. We are very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Rigg Construction for a new build or renovation.
